| The Benjamin J. Baker Neighborhood Improvement Association was organized in February of 2000. The name was officially changed in 2008 to Benjamin J. Baker Community Development Corporation.
One of the activities of the Benjamin J. Baker Community Development Corporation is to build a Scholarship Fund through sponsorship and donations. Our goal for this activity is to help a qualified high school graduate(s), who has a proven interest in the Trabue Woods community, to further their education through a scholarship award(s). Our past efforts have improved the quality of life of our community.
This fundraiser is to be held on September 1, 2012 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County, located at 2280 Aaron Street in Port Charlotte, FL.
The cost of the entrance ticket is $40.00 and will include an excellent dinner, catered by the Cultural Center. Sponsors are now being sought to help us in our efforts to provide a dynamic fundraiser event. The following sponsorships are available: A table for 4 persons is $160.00, a table for 6 persons is $240.00 and a table for 8 persons is $310.00.
Our regular sponsorships are a Bronze sponsor for $100, a Silver sponsor for $300 and a Gold sponsor for $500. Please see our website, www.benjaminjbakercdc.org, for items received when you become a yearly Bronze, Silver or Gold sponsor of this organization. A Patron Sponsor or a Scholarship donation of any amount is gladly accepted. Please mail your donation to the above listed address.
